She's nearly 15 years my junior (and 9 years my brother's junior) and not a very confident individual. All five of my siblings had a role in their West Virginia wedding (including my husband and my sister's boyfriend at the time), but I did not (I still went despite hurt feelings). I have tried on a number of occasions to extend the olive branch, but have resigned myself to the fact that I will never have a relationship with her- and therefore, with their children. It's very sad for me, but there you have it.<br /><br />I'm glad that you made this effort.
